My Life Chapter 3

'No sudden movements;' I, Celestia and Rainbow stayed glued to the tree.
'There they are!' We heard angry voices shout.
'RUN!' We shot out from under the tree. All around us was just green fields. We had to keep running. There was nowhere to hide and we didn't want to get caught.
'Pst! Over here!' Somewhere in the field was someone calling us, so me and Celestia started running over to where the person was calling. 'Over here!' When we got to the sound there was a small hole.
'Get in!' The voice hissed and we didn't want to take chances with the police so we jumped in. Inside the hole was a small underground cave. We could stand up and move around but the darkness stopped us from doing that.
'Ur...Hello? Who's there?' Celestia called into the darkness. A light came on and a face appeared.
'Oh hello! They call me Discord.'

The thing smiled and walked over to us, neither of us flinched we stayed standing and let him inspect us.
'Never seen ponies like you before...And I've seen a lot of ponies!' He said with a cheeky look in his eye.
'Well, duh! There is no other pony like us! We are both magic and can fly.' I retorted staring at him trying to make out what he was.
'Well nice to meet you I am a draconequus, one of a kind. I have the mother of a unicorn and a father of a dragon.' He was now circling us, he paused when he got to our flanks.
'Do you mind?' Celestia said with a look of disgust.
'So why are you hiding?' Discord said ignoring Celestia, 'And who is this?' He bent down at Rainbow.
'That's Rainbow, she's our rabbit.'
'How very strange.' He was about to poke her but Rainbow bit his paw. He shook it in the air with a look of pain but then continued circling us. 'Are you hiding?'
'What do you think?' I said in a sarcastic tone.
'Sarcasm is the lowest form of comedy.' He retorted 'Anyway I better be going. A lot of stuff to do... on my own.' Me and Celestia exchanged glances and smiled.
'You can stay with us if you want; you know...the more the merrier!'

'And then I said oatmeal are you crazy?!?' We all giggled as Discord said the punch line. 'Well we better be going to bed now.' We all nodded in agreement then started shifting our positions to et more comfortable. Then I nodded off into a deep sleep.

I woke up with Rainbow on top of my head and hidden in my mane. I got up slowly to be able to move my hooves to get her off but she woke up anyway. The cave was lighter now in the morning. Though even in the light I had I barely could see anything and ended up tripping over Discord.
'Whoops sorry, my bad.' I gave a sheepish grin as we both stood up. We decided to wake Celestia then head out. The sky was clear and the sun was beaming down at us. I smiled as memories of me and my mum playing in the grass and having picnics.
'What's making you so happy?' Discord asked me with a cheeky look in his eye. I glanced at him and allowed there to be a pause.
'What do you think?'
'I think that you are thinking of a pony she is a unicorn, she has a long pink mane and kind blue eyes, it's also very sunny and your having fun.' Discord gave me a grin and I was shocked.
'How did you know? That's the description of my mum and...the fun we had.' I blushed and Celestia giggled.
'You two are getting along like a married couple.' I blushed deeper and hid behind my fringe.

We made our way back to the underground cave. It was dark and only the moon was up, no stars just a black sky pierced with a large white circle. Celestia sighed and said,
'My dad raises the moon. I guess he was worn out, no stars tonight.' The rest of the journey was silent but I felt something. Like...We were bein watched.

We carried on until Discord said,
'I feel as if some things watching us.' A shadow was cast across the field there were loud booms of thunder. 'Run!' Discord cried.

We all ran around aimlessly,
'Head for the forest' I said nodding my head in the direction of a group of trees silhouetted against the night sky. I grabbed Rainbow by the scruff and ran as fast as my small hooves would carry me. Celestia was only a few feet away, but I couldn't find Discord. I wanted to stop and run back but I couldn't, I didn't have the courage. So I kept running.


'Discord? Discord? Are you there?' Me and Celestia had been calling for hours, we were venturing deeper into the forest until the trees covred the light so we couldn't see our hooves.
'We better look for shelter,' Celestia said, 'It's getting a bit dark&...Do you have Rainbow?'
'Yeah, she's here on my...Oh come on!' I looked on my back and all I saw were my wings. I started panicking, 'She's only small, she's a rabbit and how is she going to cope?' Celestia managed to calm me though.
'Look she's probably with Discord. She smiled reassuringly and we managed to find shelter in the darkness. When Celestia was asleep I found it hard to, I was worrying about why the storm just suddenly appeared, where is Rainbow and Discord, are they alright. In the end I couldn't take it any more. I snuck out of our shelter and went off to find them, it was dark and it smelt like decay but I continued, my thoughts whirring as I went.
